Arrival and departure times

Check-in: between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Late arrivals: Only by prior formal agreement and with additional charge – 20 euros.

After 11:00 p.m., no arrivals will be accepted, out of respect for other guests and for our team that provides reception and breakfast. Unfortunately, we cannot welcome travelers at 2:00 a.m. and provide quality service in the morning knowing that our season lasts several months.

In case of late arrival, prior formal agreement is required; without this agreement, your reservation may be cancelled as soon as check-in is complete (9:00 p.m.).

If you are unsure whether you will arrive during this period, choose a hotel with a 24-hour reception.

Since 2025, they are also subject to fees, these fees amount to 20 euros.

Any early arrival not respected will be charged.

Dropping off small luggage before visiting Saint-Émilion or the wine châteaux is not necessary: the region is safe and there is no risk of theft.

For other bookings, breakfast is available at an additional cost and the choice remains flexible.

Accommodation & accessibility

Bookings at La Closerie de Fronsac are managed through our London-based Eviivo Channel Manager. When you book, you will leave the La Closerie de Fronsac website and be redirected to Eviivo's secure module, ensuring transactions comply with European security standards. A pre-authorisation will be made on your credit card, without an immediate debit. Payment will be made on site, resulting in the automatic cancellation of the pre-authorisation. For more details, please read the General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

All our rooms are located upstairs, accessible only by stairs. For more details regarding access to our rooms, you can contact us by email or directly by phone.

Babies are welcome at La Closerie de Fronsac. Upon prior request , we can provide a baby bed . However, not all of our rooms are suitable for one. Please contact us before booking to check the possibility.

Superior Twin Room :

Has two separate beds but can be transformed into a double bed (180x200 cm).

Request to be made 24 hours in advance .

If the reservation is made on the same day, it will remain in the configuration of its original destination, namely 2 beds.

Pets

Unfortunately, we do not accept pets in our establishment. Thank you for your understanding.
VAE/MTB rental

Any rental of an Electrically Assisted Bicycle (EAB) or Mountain Bike (MTB) is subject to the establishment of a rental contract. A deposit, in the form of an undebited bank imprint, is required in the amount of €300 per EAB and €100 per mountain bike. In addition, a valid official document must be presented to finalize the rental. For more details, please read the General Terms and Conditions for the Rental of EAB/MTB .
Laundry

Take advantage of our laundry service available 7 days a week! Leave your dirty laundry with us, and we will return it to you clean and fresh. This service is offered at a cost, prices are available on site. Don't waste time during your stay, we will take care of your laundry.

Nestled in the middle of vineyards, our estate has many terraces furnished with tables and chairs in a landscaped garden, perfect for enjoying a moment of calm, having a drink or reading in complete serenity. Some of these terraces offer a panoramic view of the vineyards, allowing you to admire a natural and soothing landscape while enjoying the moment.

Tastings of our wines

We invite guests staying at La Closerie de Fronsac to a free tasting, upon request. This experience of approximately one hour will allow you to discover the Bordeaux vineyard, learn more about our wines and discuss your passion for wine. The tasting takes place between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., lasts 1 hour and is available in French or English. If you would like to participate, please let us know when you make your reservation.

La Closerie de Fronsac offers a shuttle service to make your travel easier. We provide transfers to Libourne train station, trips to Saint-Émilion and transport to one of our local restaurants. Service available on request, subject to conditions. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
